Five months old and two funerals
It is hard to believe that Joseph is five months old. How quickly time passes!
Unfortunately, in his short life, he has already been to two funerals in five months. The first funeral was for his twin brother Jonathan, who passed away in-uteruo in January. The second funeral was yesterday for his grandmother(my mother), who passed away on the very day Joseph turned five months old (September 20, 2006)
This has been a very difficult year for our family, but we know that God is faithful to see us through these dark hours.
One of these days, Heidi and I will be tasked with the opportunity and responsibility of telling him about his brother and grandmother.
Maybe it is best that at five months he does not fully comphrend what has taken place in his short life, but then it is also deciding exactly when the right time is to tell him about these things that have affected his life.
