Good test results

Just as I was walking out the door to go to work, the phone rang and it was the hospital calling. I answered the phone and it was for my wife, they would not tell me the test results even though I am her husband and they can talk to me. They said that her tests came back normal, so no gestational diabetes. Praise the Lord for this answer to prayer.

We were at the Dr yesterday and saw Joseph on the ultrasound. He is now starting to exercise his lungs by breathing. We also saw that he has a small amount of hair on his head. It looked like fuzz on the ultrasound. The Dr. said that everything is looking good and we are now at 27 weeks. We need to go 4 more weeks and get past week 31.

7:00 am comes early on a Saturday morning

The subject line says it all, but we had to go back to the hospital for a 3 hour gestational diabetes test on Saturday. My wife did not pass the first test, so they wanted to run a longer test. The time seemed to pass very quickly while we were waiting. Afterwards, we went to Perkins for breakfast and then went home.

We are praying for good results on this test.

Ok for now.. but another test

We had another Dr appointment on Friday. Joseph is doing well the Dr said. We also had a glucose test for gestational diabetes and my wife did not pass on the first go-around, so we have to go back to the hospital on Saturday AM for a 3 hour glucose test for gestational diabetes.

Please pray that this test will come back negative. We have already been through a lot and this will just add to things...

Break time...

This week has been quiet, no doctors appointments,etc. However we have started to receive some of the EOB's from the insurance companies. They have for the first day of testing (Ultrasound and MRI). We haven't received all of the bills yet, but this is a good sign because if they pay for the testing, then the surgery should be covered also.

We do have a Dr's appointment this Friday early, so we covet your prayers as we go back to the Dr for another check-up.

I will post an update on Friday after the Dr appointment.
